Our analytical platform Semeris Docs focuses on extracting insights from words, not numbers, delivering productivity and analytical capabilities to leading asset managers, investment banks, law firms, trustees, and ratings agencies.
Approximately 50% of our revenue comes from U.S. clients, many of whom are major institutions in structured finance, private credit, and leveraged finance markets.
Following our Series A funding round in January 2025, we're a growing company with an international team of approximately 45 software developers, analysts, and sales and marketing specialists.
About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our U.S. team and expand our business in structured finance and private credit. Reporting to our Head of US Sales, you'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing, with clients across asset management, investment banking, law firms, rating agencies, and trustees.
You should possess domain expertise in these sectors, an established industry network, and a keen interest in software that enables financial professionals to analyze complex documents.
Key Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and closing
Leverage your professional network to open doors and generate qualified leads across U.S. asset managers, law firms, investment banks, rating agencies, trustees, and other target segments
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, with clear qualification criteria and effective prioritization of prospects
Articulate our value proposition compellingly to senior stakeholders in leveraged finance, structured credit, and private credit markets
Meet and exceed annual revenue targets through strategic account planning and disciplined execution

Represent Semeris at key industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
Generate new business opportunities through both warm introductions and effective cold outreach strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their workflow challenges and demonstrating how Semeris delivers measurable value

Partner closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine go-to-market strategies and messaging
Provide valuable market intelligence and client feedback to inform product development and commercial direction
Collaborate with product specialists and technical teams during the sales process to address client requirements
Support the onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions from sales to customer success

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM
Track and report on key sales metrics, pipeline development, and progress against targets
Contribute to sales strategy development by sharing insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs
Qualifications

5-7+ years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise software
Strong domain knowledge in structured finance, private credit, leveraged finance, or related capital markets segments
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a financial data, analytics, or software environment
Existing professional network across asset managers, banks, law firms, rating agencies, or trustees in the U.S. market
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
Strong presentation abilities with experience delivering compelling pitches to C-level and senior stakeholders
